The Scott Kelby Location Kit
I first saw it while at the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Tour in Los Angeles. It’s all of the lighting equipment Scott Kelby uses to take on location. The great thing I like about it is that everything he uses can be used to set up as a portable studio where he can take it with him and do all of the lighting alone without an assistant. This is usually how I take my photos–without an assistant.
Over on Scott’s blog, Photoshop Insider, he has a video showing viewers exactly how he sets up each piece of the “portable studio” now known as The Scott Kelby Location Kit. You can normally purchase them at B&H Video, but they are currently sold out. The video is great and shows a lot about lighting in a brief amount of time. Thanks Scott.
