Matt’s “Cinematic Midnight Effect” Preset
I finally took a look at Matt Kloskowski’s newest preset for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Here’s the before:
It was a very foggy morning on Highway 99 as I traversed my way to work. Here’s the after:
With the click of the mouse it looks like I was traveling at night! Now, here’s what changed (or at least the primary changes).

Notice in particular how the temperature cooled down quite a bit and the blue luminance was altered. These, I believe were crucial to the “darkening” or “night look” of the new preset. Thanks Matt.
