Posted on: 3 April 2007

University of Westminster student, Yannis Kontos, has won another award to cap his most recent First Prize, Contemporary Issues, at this year’s World Press Photo Awards. The new award which is well know in the US, First Prize, Pictures of the International 2006, Magazine Feature brings to 15 the number of awards he’s won to date. (via University of Westminster

I recently took a look at Yannis Kontos’ personal website and was impressed with his biography, his portfolio and his work in general. What awesome work from such a young photojournalist. We can expect nothing but the best from the pioneering school of Photography at University of Westminster.
