Residue From The Nearby Fire

Posted on: 19 August 2007

Tonights photo is brought to you by the Zaca fire. It’s been burning in nearby Santa Barbara, California since July 4th. For the past couple of weeks we, in neighboring Kern County have had a creepy golden, ashy tone to our evenings. The photo below should be the sunset against a blue sky. But alas there is so much smoke in the air all one can see is the orange, gray haze.
